Suspects Wanted for Shooting at NYPD Officers on Pulaski Street

There were no injuries

Police are looking for several suspects involved in a Friday night shooting on Pulaski Street in Bed-Stuy.

According to police reports, on Friday, May 10, at around 11:55 p.m., members of the NYPD's Brooklyn North Gang Unit were in the vicinity of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Pulaski Street when they heard gunshots.

The officers immediately called for backup, reporting they saw a group of males running into 319 Pulaski Street (between Marcus Garvey Blvd and Lewis Ave). After backup arrived, the officers began canvassing the area, including the inside of the building and on the rooftop.

According to police, during a flashlight search behind the building for a firearm possibly thrown from the roof, one or more of the suspects began shooting at two plain clothed officers - an NYPD Sergeant and a police officer.

The officers were not injured, but three parked vehicles sustained property damage. The police recovered six spent shell casings from the side of 93 Lewis Avenue. No arrests have been made.
