Friends Seek Help to Find Missing Bed-Stuy Man

Friends of Bed-Stuy local Antwoine Levail Shepard are asking the public to help track down their friend, who disappeared on July 19.

"Antwoine is missing from Bed-Stuy. He hasn't been heard from since Tuesday. ... . If you know/see/hear *anything* please contact the NYPD," wrote one woman in an Instagram post about Shepard.

According to the post, Levail never showed up for work on July 19, after he allegedly sent a note to his employer saying he'd be late.

"He is 34-years old , 5'8, African-American male . Please contact the NYC 79th and ask for Detective Bucker at 718-636-6655 Thank you," read another status message, posted on a Facebook Missing Persons page on Tuesday.
