Stapley Survived the Hurricane; Now he Needs a Home!

Stapley will purr endlessly if you just give him a chance.

Submitted by Lesley Johannsen

Stapley is a 3-year-old sweetheart who survived Hurricane Sandy (sadly, his cat companion didn't make it).

He was living in Red Hook where the new Fairway parking lot was under construction. He's a fan of organic food but not all of the cars that he would have to dodge! The lucky kitty hitched a ride with a helpful man who had been feeding him, and now lives in a loving foster home waiting to find his forever home.

Stapley is a quiet type of guy, a shy kitty who everyday becomes more and more outgoing as he settles into being spoiled and adored. He loves getting head and chin scratches and belly rubs, as well as sunning himself on the window sill and playing with his KONG Kickeroo stuffed toy.

Stapley will purr endlessly if you just give him a chance. He looks up at you with his beautiful green eyes as if to say "love me and I will love you back!"

Stapley is healthy, neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He would also do well with dogs.
