I've been to Therapy a few times, and am happy to have an adult drinking spot to go to in the neighborhood. The staff here is attentive and seems to truly care if you’ve got everything you need, and succeed in maintaining a perfect balance between friendly and unobtrusive. The grazing food I noshed on at the bar - a mixed cheese plate, a duck pate and an artichoke dip - were excellent, and priced well for the portion size. The space is comfortable, well-lit, and relaxing - whether you sit at the bar, or at a table - and while I can't recall what kind of music was playing, I never felt like it was too loud that it infringed upon conversation. They apparently have large-screen TV's: but I don't remember seeing any TV's any of the times I hung out there, and generally avoid bars that have TV's. Maybe they only bring them out for specific occasions?

As for the liquor selection, the drinks are tasty and are served in a reasonable amount of time. As a wine enthusiast, I wish they would stock a bit more daring fare - not necessarily pricier bottles, but a greater selection of boutique vintners or more atypical varietals - that offer more complex flavors - or perhaps partner with Olivino to do some tastings of some atypical wines. But, this is coming from someone who worked in Italian and French restaurants for years, and got to try some amazing wine, so I've probably got different expectations than your average customer. All that said, I really like Therapy, and will be back!
