Pizza Express

Just off Broadway, steps from the Gates Avenue J Z stop, is Pizza Express, east Bed-Stuy's small, friendly pizza joint. Look for the red, white and green awning in the shadow of a two-story dwelling with beige aluminum siding. Inside are a number of booths for eating in and a large menu hanging above the cash register featuring lasagna, knishes and veal heros in addition to various pizza options. Call ahead and have your food waiting for you as soon as you walk in the door.
