Community Update

Happy Tues D, this week a long standing Bedford Stuyvesant community LAND-MARK institution will celebrate its 89th Grand Session. The Most Worshipful Enoch Grand Lodge located at 423 Nostrand ave has been a viable edifice where prominent men and women greet and meet in demonstration and in support of charitable causes. This auspicious fraternal organization is comprised of Masonic Lodges and the Order of Eastern Star Chapters. One such Lodge that has established their charitable footing in the "STUY" is NGUZO SABA lodge #112. The Lodge has adopted Bedford Academy High School as its charitable cause and going on 3 years presents every April 'Masons Who Kook'. This is a fund Raising event where the lodge members present the finest cuisine of their individual home cooked meals. A financial scholarship in the name of Mr. Leary (FAMILY) Corbin is awarded to students along with a donation to the schools 9-9 regents prep classes. Pyramid Youth Incentive, Inc. is most grateful to announce Nguzo Saba Lodge committing their time and energy in the 2014 YOUTH IN THE KEY OF L. Y. F. E. SUMMIT. Stay tuned for further details.
