Don't Miss: Field Day 2013 in Bed-Stuy Saturday

Events include a renters workshop, jewelry making and other arts-themed activities.

There's a party happening Saturday in Bed Stuy ... and Harlem, and Hunts Point.

it's the 2013 Field Day, a simultaneous street fair in these three communities geared towards celebrating the culture of these neighborhoods, sponsored by The Laundromat Project.

In Bed Stuy, the event takes place at four locations: Fulton Street Laundry (1618 Fulton St.) , Marmy’s Laundromat (197 Malcolm X Blvd.), Bed-Stuy Community Garden (94/95 Malcolm X Blvd) and For My Sweet Gallery (1103 Fulton St.). Events include a renters workshop, jewelry making and other arts-themed activities. The event kicks off at 12 p.m. and runs until 5 p.m.

The Laundromat Project works with low-income families through art programs held at local laundromats.
