Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Brooklyn Tuesday
Snow expected throughout the morning and afternoon Tuesday. Alternate side parking has been suspended.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for all of Kings County until 5 p.m.
Snow accumulation of three to five inches is expected with higher amounts possible in certain areas developing in the morning and ending in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain in the lower 30s
Visibility may be affected at a half mile in heavier areas. Accumulating snow will create icy and hazardous travel conditions throughout the day.
The NWS warns to be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and to use caution while driving.
As a result of the snow, alternate side parking has been suspended today to aid in snow removal.
