Bed-Stuy Has Borough's Most Unreliable Bus Route

Have you had a hard time getting around on the B44 in Bed-Stuy? You're not alone.

According to transit advocates The Straphangers Campaign, the B44, which runs from the Williamsburg Bridge to Sheepshead Bay through Bed-Stuy, was unreliable more than 25 percent of the time. 

According to a release sent out Thursday by the Straphangers, the B44 ran in bunches with big gaps in service a quarter of the time, more than any other bus in the borough. 

The city was already aware of the trouble on the B44 line, instituting Select Bus Service on the route recently.
