Shaq, Barkley Think Nets Have What It Takes

The Big Aristotle seems to like Brooklyn this year.

Two former NBA greats think the Brooklyn Nets could be the team to beat in the NBA this season, according to published reports.

Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley spoke to reporters in advance of the NBA's season tip-off on Tuesday, and said the Nets new weapons give them a good chance to make a deep post-season run this year.

According to ESPN.com, O'Neal said the Nets "can give Miami a run for their money."

Barkley told reporters that he wouldn't be surprised to see a Nets-Clippers final next summer.

The Nets open their season Wednesday in Cleveland, then face off against the defending champion Miami Heat when they open the Barclays Center on Friday.
