Nets Players to Host Volleyball Clinic at Bed-Stuy YMCA on Thursday

Brooklyn Nets Players Johnson, Evans, Bogans, Childress, Teletovic to Participate with 50 Youngsters in Volleyball Clinic at Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA, the second clinic in the Nets’ Brooklyn Fit Program

Brooklyn Nets players Joe Johnson, Reggie Evans, Keith Bogans, Josh Childress, and Mirza Teletovic will participate with 50 youngsters ages 8-14 in an introduction to volleyball clinic at the Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA at 1121 Bedford Avenue  in Brooklyn, on Thursday, December 20, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Brooklyn Fit is a monthly health and fitness classes, taught by Body Sculpt instructors and nutritionists, to educate children on staying physically active while having fun. The event marks the second clinic in the program.

Brooklyn Nets players will join students in activities such as step aerobics, tennis, dance and Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music.

WHO: Brooklyn Nets players Joe Johnson, Reggie Evans, Keith Bogans, Josh Childress, and Mirza Teletovic and 50 kids.

WHAT: Introduction to volleyball clinic for 50 youngsters ages 8-14.

WHEN: Thursday, December 20, 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA, 1121 Bedford Avenue, between Monroe Street and Gates Avenue.
