Brooklyn Cyclones Step to the Plate to Support American Red Cross

The Brooklyn Cyclones minor league ball club is showing its thanks and support for the American Red Cross in Greater New York this summer by announcing American Red Cross Night at MCU Ballpark on Thursday, July 14th and also selecting the chapter as a beneficiary of its fifth annual charity golf outing on Tuesday, July 26th.

“The majority of our local disaster responses occur in the borough of Brooklyn,” American Red Cross in Greater New York CEO Vikki L. Pryor said. “Annually we respond to over 700 house fires, power outages, floods and vacates in Brooklyn and provide assistance to over 4,000 borough residents with food, clothing, temporary housing and/or counseling following these disasters. The chapter is honored and excited to have a partner like the Brooklyn Cyclones and thank them for honoring and recognizing the commitment and dedication shown by our personnel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
