Trap-Neuter-Return: How to Manage a Feral Cat Colony

Come learn how to care for the feral and stray cats in your community and make use of the many resources now available to assist you. All steps in setting up a managed colony will be covered, including establishing good community relations, feeding, winter shelter, arranging veterinary care, finding recovery space, safely handling feral cats and trapping (with an emphasis on conducting a mass trapping of an entire feral cat colony at once).

All workshop attendees will become TNR certified and NYC residents will gain access to low cost spay/neuter (currently $5 per cat at the ASPCA's clinic), free traps and equipment, and expert guidance and assistance.  Join the 3000+ caretakers trained to date!

To register:  email your name, address and phone number to lois@nycferalcat.org or call 212-662-5761 and leave your name, address and phone number on the voicemail.  There is no fee for the June 11 class.
