Bridge Street Development Corporation and Signature Bank invite you to our First Investor Program. A 9 week program which teaches you how to invest in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Each participant will receive a $750 matching grant from Signature Bank and a personal financial planner.
Classes are held every Tuesday beginning October 2nd through November 27th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
To qualify for the program, you must have $750 saved in a bank account and make less than $55,000 annual gross income. Funds may not be borrowed and you will need to submit proof of savings to participate in the class. It is important that you attend all classes as absences of two or more classes may result in forfeiture of participation and the matching grant. Excused absences can be discussed on a case by case basis.
Seats are limited! To apply please submit the following items to our office by September 13, 2012
- A completed application which you can download here.
- A copy of your 2011 W-2, 1099, or your 1040
- A bank statement showing proof of $750 savings
