Welcome to "MY" BedStuy Protecting an "A" P.S. 138

Last night Teachers, Students, Parents, Community residents and local Elected Officials all gathered in Crown Heights in a Town Hall hearing to fight the encroachment of another school (colocation) Success Academy in their building. the focus of the evening was on the extremely high performance that P.S 138 has maintained over the last 6 years 5 A's on the Chancellors Progress report and 1 B. Councilmember Al Vann pointed out that this should be the Model for the BOE to show how inner city schools can perform. Watch this one very closely! The BOE's response should be interesting!
