This moment in history is marked by the first meeting of the Vanguard Independent Democratic Association in its new home on 401 Tompkins Avenue. This meeting opened to a packed standing room only crowd of lively and engaged club members ready to address the upcoming elections as well as continue dealing with the health care crisis in Central Brooklyn. As it's second term president I am pleased to be partly responsible for the transition and growth in membership that we are experiencing along with the hardest working executive board I know.
