Quinn Gets Punked With Fake Campaign Website

Mayoral hopeful target of misleading e-mail blast from unknown prankster.

Mayoral candidate Christine Quinn got a taste of good old-fashioned New York politics this week, as a fake campaign e-mail circulated, drawing unwanted attention to her position on paid sick leave, according to the Daily News.

The e-mail sent supporters to quinnfornewyork.org, a fake website with a nearly identical URL to her actual website, quinnfornewyork.com.

Needless to say, Quinn was not happy.
