One Week To Go Until Primary Day

Campaigns citywide enter final week.

With Primary Day in New York City exactly a week away, politicians in the five boroughs are working 24-hour days.

Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer was shaking hands outside of a subway station in Bed-Stuy Tuesday morning with U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries and Assemblyman Walter Mosley.

Stringer, depending on which poll you ask, is either neck-and-neck with opponent Eliot Spitzer or trailing badly. Guess we'll have to wait a week to find out which is accurate.

Meanwhile, the city's mayoral candidates spent the weekend cozying up to Brooklyn at the West Indian Day Parade, according to published reports.

There is also a mayoral debate Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
