Health Care Sign Up Event At Borough Hall
Sign up for a health care plan this Thursday.
The headlines for the past month have been all about the disfunction of the sign-up process for the Affordable Care Act. The roll out has been, at best, troubled.
But in Brooklyn, there's no reason to despair if you're still trying to sign up for insurance through a New York State exchange.
On Thursday at Brooklyn Borough Hall, a two-part event will help New Yorkers without insurance navigate "New York State of Health," the New York health care exchange.
The event will start at 1 p.m. Thursday at 209 Joralemon Street, where health care market experts will be able to guide users through the process.
No RSVP is required, so there's no excuse not to go. A sign-up open house will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
