De Blasio Endorses Mosely for State Assembly

De Blasio's becomes the first endorsement of Walter T. Mosely by a citywide elected official

Public Advocate Bill de Blasio on Wednesday endorsed District Leader Walter T. Mosley for State Assembly in the 57th District.

De Blasio is the first citywide elected official to endorse Mosley in the race and the third endorsement for the district leader after Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries and City Council Member Letitia James.

"I am here to support Walter Mosley for Assembly," said Public Advocate de Blasio. "Walter is a strong leader who cares deeply for New York's families and will fight for affordable housing, quality healthcare, and job creation that is sorely needed in Brooklyn. Only by sending progressive voices like Walter's to Albany can we continue to improve the lives of our working families."
