Brooklyn IRS Office to Relocate to 2 Metrotech Center

The IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center will reopen at the new location at noon on Monday, December 17, 2012

The Brooklyn branch of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Taxpayer Assistance Center, currently located at 625 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, will be moving to its new location at 100 Myrtle Avenue, 2 MetroTech Center, 1st Floor in Brooklyn.

The Fulton Street Taxpayer Assistance office will close at noon on Friday, December 14, 2012, and reopen at the new location at noon on Monday, December 17, 2012.

However, taxpayers should be advised that if they need tax help or have a question, they still may not have to travel farther than their computer. The IRS website at www.irs.gov is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  For those without Internet access, assistance is available through the IRS toll-free number at 800-829-1040. Tax forms can be ordered at 800-829-3676.

Taxpayers, who need face-to-face taxpayer assistance for answers to quick questions, account inquiries or to pick up free forms and publications, can visit the new office, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Chris Rock said it best, African Americans are shown more 'love' for doing a 'bid' and getting outRead More of prison than to graduate school with a degree. When this 'hood mentality' starts to change, then you will see more than a trickle of AA passing advanced math courses.
