Video of Macon Street Murder Suspects Released by NYPD

Police released a video of the two suspects from the vicinity of Tompkins Avenue and Halsey Street before the homicide.

 

A video of two male suspects responsible for shooting and killing a man near the corner of Throop Avenue and Macon Street Thursday night was released by Police Friday night.

In the video, the two men can be seen in the the vicinity of Tompkins Avenue and Halsey Street before killing Ivan Giovanettina, police said.

The victim was the former owner of Blu York Cafe.

The shooting took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they found Giovanettina lying on the ground, bleeding with gunshot wounds to his stomach.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
