Three Men Arrested for Buying Stolen iPhone, Possessing Loaded Guns and Marijuana Possession

Cops made the arrest after the men bought a stolen iPhone at a bodega on Tompkins Avenue.

 

Cops arrested three men in a bodega on Tompkins Avenue for buying a stolen iPhone, carrying a two loaded guns, and possessing marijuana on Saturday, Feb. 16.

According to the NYPD, police from the 79th Precinct conducted a “fencing operation” inside 94 Gourmet, a deli at 94 Thompkins Avenue, at around 1:35 p.m. where they offered to sell a stolen iPhone4 to employees for $30.

Three employees allegedly agreed to buy the stolen iPhone, and during the arrest officers recovered a defaced .380 black semi-automatic handgun loaded with three live rounds, and a Ekol Sava Magnum 9mm, a starter pistol loaded with 10 rounds.

A report from the NYPD stated that the three males were arrested during the course of the investigation. Among those arrested were a 57-year-old, a 29-year-old, and an 18-year-old.
