Suspect Still at Large in Murder of Bed-Stuy Mother

Police are still searching for Eric McCormick, the 40-year-old man wanted for questioning in the shooting death of a Bed-Stuy mother last week.

McCormick was the boyfriend of Sellis Gonzalez, who police said was found dead in her home by her children after being shot three times on Sept. 18.

According to published reports, McCormick sent Gonzalez's two children to the corner store with money before the incident. When the children returned, they found their mother bleeding and called 911. McCormick was gone, but was caught on surveillance video leaving the Chauncey Street apartment.
