Suspect Sought in DeKalb Ave. Shooting

Tuesday incident claimed life of 24-year-old Brooklyn woman.

Police are searching for a suspect in Tuesday's DeKalb Avenue shooting that claimed the life of 24-year-old Nicoleia Taylor.

Taylor was shot in the chest Tuesday morning and taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

The incident took place near the Lafayette Gardens houses, just blocks from Pratt's campus. 

According to information from the police department, the suspect in the shooting has been identified as 21-year-old Corey Brown. Brown is 5'10" and 150 pounds. Police released a mug shot, above, to help identify him.
