Stabbing on Monroe Street

The perpetrator is known to the station, and police report they are close to an arrest

On Tuesday, April 17, at approximately 11:50pm, a 38-year-old man was stabbed once in the abdomen by another man inside of a building on Monroe Street, between Patchen and Malcolm X. The victim reported he knew the man, and provided his name and other information. Police ran a report and found the perpetrator was known to the police for past infraction; they are close to an arrest. The victim was admitted to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition.

Update on the shooting on Monday night shooting on Herkimer: Police now have a few leads on the shooter, and are moving towards an arrest soon.
