Shots Fired on Lewis Ave, Bullets Hit Peaches Restaurant

No arrest has been made

81st Precinct Police are investigating a shooting on Lewis Avenue that resulted in bullets entering a parked car and Peaches Restaurant.

According to police, on Saturday, December 22, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a black SUV traveling on Lewis Avenue began firing shots in the direction of 403 Lewis Avenue (Peaches Restaurant). No one was shot at the location. However, one bullet did hit the window of the restaurant and another hit a parked vehicle in front of the restaurant.

Police canvassed the area and recovered four 9m shell casings.

The suspect driving the car is described as a black man with a grey hooded sweat top on. Witnesses at the scene could provide no further information regarding the shooter nor the car.

Cameras in the area are being reviewed for more information. No arrests have been made, and the detective squad is working the case.
