On Saturday. April 30, at approximately 6:15 pm, an unidentified female was shot in the chest on Gates Avenue near the intersection of Nostrand Avenue.
Police and emergency vehicles were called to the scene and transported the woman to Kings County Hospital.
Police said the victim was not likely to expire. They are looking for the perpetrator who fled the scene immediately. The investigation is ongoing.
