Report: Police Injured Breaking Up Bed-Stuy House Party

Three charged with assaulting a police officer.

Three police suffered minor injuries and five people were arrested early Sunday after cops attempted to break up a Bed-Stuy house party, the New York Daily News reported. 

According to the paper, police responded to a block on Macon Street in Bed-Stuy around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, after dozens of residents in the area called in noise complaints to 311. 

Two men and one woman were charged with assaulting a police officer, while two other party-goers were charged with criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

Police told the paper that the three injured officers were hurt while trying to break up a fight that had broken out on Macon Street after their arrival.
