Police Seeking Suspect in Monday Morning Armed Robbery

Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a second suspect in an armed robbery on Kosciuszko Street

79th Precinct Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the second of two suspects involved in an armed robbery Monday morning on Koscisuzko Street.

On July 30, at approximately 8:00 a.m., two men were robbed at gunpoint by two other men, in front of 264 Kosciuszko Street between Tompkins and Throop avenues.

According to police reports, the suspects approached the victims, displayed a firearm and demanded all of their money and property. The men handed over their possessions. Neither of the victims were harmed.

The victims alerted police immediately. Police canvassed the area and were able to apprehend and catch one suspect, but the other perpetrator fled on foot.

Approximately an hour and a half later, a sergeant spotted and pursued the second perpetrator near 200 Throop Avenue, but he was not apprehended.

Police continue to seek the whereabouts of the second suspect who is described as a black male wearing tan shorts and no shirt. The investigation continues.
