Police Seeking Information on SUV Rapist

The investigation is ongoing

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man accused a raping of a 29-year-old woman on Saturday, October 8.

According to the victim, she was forcibly raped inside of the suspect's vehicle, described as a black SUV with blue and yellow New York plates, at Throop Avenue and Jefferson Street at around 11:45pm.

The victim reports that the two drove around for a while, and once they got into the vicinity of Monroe Street, the suspect forcibly raped her.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old black man, approximately 6'0" and 160 lbs, with cornrow braids. He also had a tattoo under his right eye (unknown design) and speaks with a West Indian accent.
