Police Release Photo of Malcolm X Blvd Shooter

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance identifying the a suspect wanted in the shooting of a 22-year-old man Monday afternoon on Halsey Street.
 
The victim in the incident -- which was originally reported by police as occurring in front of 664 Halsey Street -- was walking in front of 249 Malcolm X Boulevard at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, when an unidentified man shot him once in the arm and once in the buttocks.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Police have released a photo of the suspect taken from an area video surveillance.
