Police on the Hunt for Rapist Who Has Struck Three Times in Brooklyn

The suspect reportedly flatters his victims, lures them to an isolated area and then attacks them.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance identifying a rapist who has assaulted a woman and young girl in Crown Heights and another woman in Canarsie.

The suspect is described as an attractive black man in his mid-20s, 5 foot 9, 160-180 pounds and wearing camouflage clothing, boots and a baseball hat (possibly with a NY Knicks or Yankees logo).

In each incident, the suspect engages the victim in a conversation about where he can buy marijuana and then lures them to an isolated location where he rapes them.

According to police, the first incident occurred on Thursday, April 4 at approximately 9:00 p.m. when the suspect approached a 25-year-old woman near Albany Ave. and Fenimore St. in Crown Heights. He lured her to a parking lot where he raped her.

The second and third incidents occurred a week later, on Thursday, April 11, beginning at 8:00 in the morning when the suspect approached a 19-year-old woman near Remsen Ave. and Farragut Road. He then convinced her to accompany him to a driveway of a private home where he raped her.

Later that evening, at around 8:15 p.m., he walked up to a 15-year old girl inside a building in the vicinity of Midwood Street and Schenectady Avenue and lured her to the 6th floor where he raped her.
