Police Looking for A-Train Subway Bandit

Man stole woman's debit card, made unauthorized purchases

The New York City Police Department is looking for a subway bandit who pickpocketed a woman aboard an A train, within the confines of the 81st Precinct in Bed-Stuy.

According to reports, on Friday, February 22, at approximately 7:17 p.m., the victim, 25, noticed her purse was open and her wallet was missing, as she exited a crowded Brooklyn-bound A train.

The victim said she immediately called to cancel her card, but was informed that unauthorized charges had already incurred at the Duane Reed Store on 346 Fulton Street in downtown Brooklyn.

A photo of the suspect was captured inside of the store. Police are asking for the public's assistance with information leading to his identification and arrest.
