Police Blotter: Two Shootings, a Missing Person and a Pedestrian Struck

A daily roundup of crime in the 79th and 81st Pcts.

A few incidents in the 79th and 81st Precincts:

  • On Wednesday, April 20, at approximately 10:50 pm, police responding to calls of a shooting at 1134 Fulton Street and Franklin Ave. One male was shot.
  • On Sunday, April 24, at approximately 12:32 am, a pedestrian was struck by a car at Marcus Garvey Blvd and Broadway Avenue on his way to work. The pedestrian was pinned under the car’s airbags.
  • On Sunday, April 24, at approximately 12:40 am, a child was reported missing to the police within the confines of the 79th Precinct. The child, 11 years old, was reported missing from 121 Nostrand Avenue
  • On Monday, April 25, at approximately 12:40 pm, 81st precinct police responded to calls of shots fired at Howard Avenue and Chauncey Street. Police reported that between 10-85 shots were fired. Police are looking for a black male, 5'10 wearing an orange shirt, black bubble jacket & blue jeans.
