Police Blotter: Three Shootings in Two Days

The following information was supplied by officers from the 81st Precinct of Bed-Stuy.

On July 30, at 4:30 a.m., a 19-year-old man was shot twice in the back at 153 Marcus Garvey boulevard. Police received a call that a man was shot in the hallway, and when they arrived police found the victim on the floor, conscious, with two gunshot wounds. Police said the victim would not give them any information on the shooters. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he’s in stable condition. Police found rounds in the hallways and detectives are working the case.

On July 28, at 12:38 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot one time in the neck in the yard at 781 Greene Avenue. According to police, the victim said he was not sure who shot him. He was sent to Kings County Hospital and has since been removed. Detectives are working the case. 

A 20-year-old male was shot in both of his legs in front of 722 Madison Street on July 28, at 5 a.m. The victim told police he was walking down the block and when someone pulled up in a gray Toyota sedan, got out of the car, shot him twice and got back in the car and drove off. He did not recognize the shooter or have any idea why he shot him, according to police.
