Criminal Sexual Assault:

On Friday, March 9, 10:00pm, a woman walked into the 81st Precinct with her 8-year-old daughter and reported that criminal sexual acts had been performed on her daughter. According to police reports, the woman reported the crimes soon after the daughter reported to her mother that she had been sexually assaulted-- the first time was a rape two years ago at an address in the 85th Pct. The second incident occurred a year ago, in the 81st Precinct, and was classified as a criminal sexual act. The crimes were committed by the girl’s family members, both of whom have been reported to police. The Special Victims Unit is following up on both leads, and the investigation is ongoing.
