Three Arrests:

On Thursday, October 20, at approximately 9:30pm, a man dressed in all black wearing a ski mask walked into a bodega on MacDonough Street, between Malcolm X Blvd and Patchen Avenue, displayed a gun and demanded money from the merchant behind the counter. The merchant handed him a cigar box with $300 in cash. Police, who were nearby, were alerted to the incident when the merchant ran after him, as he exited the store and the robber then turned around and fired at him. Police pursued the suspect, and eventually caught him. The thief was arrested, and police recovered the gun and the money.
