No Injuries in Quincy Street Fire

Blaze broke out in a second-floor apartment Friday evening.

 

A fire in a Quincy Street apartment was quickly put under control Friday evening.

The blaze at 437A Quincy St. between Throop and Thompkins avenues broke out just before 8:27 p.m., and was under control by 8:41 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

There were no injuries from the fire, which began in a second-floor apartment of a three-story brownstone, the spokesman said.
