The New York City Police Department is asking the for public's assistance in locating a missing Ralph Avenue man.
On Sunday, December 26, 2010, at approximately 9 am, John Irving Hankies, 27, was last seen by his mother leaving his home at 274 Ralph Ave. saying he was going to a local grocery store.
The missing person is described as a 27-year-old black man, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 160 pounds.

Hankies was last seen wearing was a navy blue flight jacket, tan hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black high-top Reebok sneakers.
