A man was stabbed in the chest in a third floor apartment on Fulton Street at around 6:15 p.m. on Friday, police said.
When police arrived on the scene near Buffalo Avenue and found the victim, a black 62-year-old man, with a stab wound to the chest, according to police.
EMS transported the man to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police canvassed the area and arrested the 42-year-old suspect, in front of Buffalo Avenue building without incident.
The suspect has been charged with murder.
