Update: Man Shot on Buffalo Avenue, in Critical Condition

No arrests have been made; investigation is ongoing

UPDATE: December 18, 8:30am

On Monday December 17, at approximately 3:30pm, a man identified as Devon Baker, 30 was shot twice once in the chest and once in the left forearm outside of a bodega located at 53 Buffalo Avenue at the corner of Atlantic Avenue.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired, and upon arrival officers found only shell casings and a witness who stated a male approached another male exiting the store and fired shots at him then fled in unknown direction.

Twenty minutes later, a call for a male shot at Interfaith hospital came through 911 where Baker was found. According to the victim, he was shot at several times while exiting the store by an unknown man. 

He then ran back into the store until the coast was clear then he drove himself to interfaith hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The case is still under investigation by the Detective squad no arrest have been made.

Police are looking for three women who were seen fleeing the scene, following the shooting of a 30 year-old man in Bed-Stuy Monday afternoon.

According to reports, police received a call of a male shot on Atlantic and Buffalo avenues on Monday, December 17, at approximately 3:30 p.m. According to witnesses at the scene, three women were spotted standing near the victim at the time of the shooting and fled the scene on foot east bound down Atlantic Avenue.

According to reports, the victim had already left the scene by the time police arrived. Police followed a blood trail and found the man, who was then transported to Interfaith Hospital where he is listed as unresponsive and in critical condition.

No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
