Man Shot and Killed Friday Morning on Putnam Ave.
An early morning homicide in the confines of the 81st Pct
A 34-year-old man was shot this morning at approximately 3:30am on Putnam Avenue.
81st Pct. Police report, they responded to a 911 call early this morning of a male shot in front of 748 Putnam, between Stuyvesant and Malcolm X Avenues.
Upon arrival, police observed the victim with one gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to Interfaith hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The man's identification is pending family notification. There are no arrest(s) at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
