Man Discovered Dead on Madison Street

An EMS team pronounced the man dead at the scene early Sunday morning.

 

A man was discovered dead with an apparent wounded torso in the 81st Precinct on Sunday morning, cops said.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., on Sunday, December 2, officers responded to a 911 call that there was an unconscious male in front of 750 Madison Street, between Malcolm X Boulevard and Patchen Avenue, according to police reports.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police unit observed an unidentified black male laying unconscious on the ground. The individual had evident trauma to the torso, cops said.

An emergency medical team also responded to the call and pronounced the individual dead at the scene. A medical examiner will determine the cause of death. In the meantime, the identification of the deceased is pending proper family notification, said cops.
