Police are investigating the possible homicide death of a 31-year-old man identified as Shaun Woolford of Gates Avenue.
On Wednesday, November 7, at approximately 3:10 p.m., 81st Precicnt police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious male inside a building in the Stuyvesant-Garden Houses projects, located at 885 Gates Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they found Woolford unresponsive with evidence of head trauma.
He was pronounced dead by emergency personnel, and the police investigation is ongoing.
