Fire Officials Investigating Early Morning Blaze on Bedford and Halsey

There were no reported injuries

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out on the fourth floor of a four-story townhouse on Bedford Avenue early Friday Morning.

Twelve units and approximately 60 firefighters were called to 1238 Bedford Avenue at Halsey Street when a mysterious fire broke out at approximately 5:47 a.m. sending all of the building's residents running into the street in effort to escape the smoke.

The blaze was put out by 6:05 a.m., and there are no reported injuries so far, reported fire officials.
