A fire was reported Sunday morning at El Pancho Grocery, located at 299 Halsey Street at the corner of Throop Avenue, according to officials. The flames allegedly started in the cellar of the four-story building.
An NYFD Firefighter Assist and Search Team responded to the scene at approximately 10:30 a.m. Preliminary searches of the building reported no injuries or casualties. A secondary search was underway after the fire was put out.
