Update: Two Bystanders Injured in Crossfire Shooting on Quincy Street

Police have placed arrested two men

Update October 5, at 10:17 p.m.: Two men have been placed under arrest for their involvement in the below incident.

Police are looking for the shooters responsible for injuring two innocent bystanders Thursday night on Quincy Street.

Cops were called to 285 Quincy Street between Nostrand and Marcy avenues at around 7:50 p.m. Thursday night after two men, who are neighbors, were injured outside of their homes after being hit by stray bullets.

One of the victims, 53, was shot once in his left leg and twice in his right leg as he approached his house after purchasing bananas at a corner store, according to authorities. The other victim, 54, was shot twice in his left leg while standing near the gate in front of his house.

Both men were taken to Kings County Hospital and are in stable condition.

The detective squad is still investigating.
