Cops Searching for Three Gunmen in Sumner Houses Drive-By Shooting

A 19-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman were shot by three men in a gray Nissan in front of the Summer Houses on Myrtle Avenue June 22.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating the following individuals wanted for questioning in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred in front of the Sumner Houses on Myrtle Avenue on June 22.

According to police, on Saturday, June 22, three triggermen pulled up to a man and woman standing in front of the Sumner Houses, between Throop Avenue and Marcus Garvey Blvd., in a gray Nissan Altima or Maxima and fired several rounds, hitting them at 12:25 a.m.

The two victims were a 19-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman. They were removed to a local hospital in stable condition after suffering gunshots.

Police said the three gunmen are described as follows:

The first suspect is a black or Hispanic man, between 19 and 25 years old, with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue Yankee hat, a blue adidas track jacket with white stripes, beige or tan jeans and white sneakers.

The second suspect was also a black man between 19 and 25, but with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a backwards-white baseball cap, with a grey sweatshirt, green camouflage pants and white sneakers.

The third suspect was also between 19 and 25 with a dark complexion, but with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a hooded grey sweatshirt with a design, patterned blue jeans with grey sneakers.
