City Employee Arrested For Assault, Cops Say

Edwin Perez, 26, was arrested within the 79th Precinct on Saturday, Jan. 12.

 

An off-duty city employee was arrested and charged with multiple offenses Saturday morning, police said. 

At approximately 9:39 a.m. on Jan. 12, 26-year-old Edwin Perez, an employee of the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, was arrested within the 79th Precinct, police said. 

Perez was charged with assault in the third degree and leaving the scene of an accident. Further details were not immediately available.
